Rooted in Heritage
In his hands, metal gains a soul, stone begins to tell a story, and the art of jewellery becomes a journey through time and culture. His creations are not merely accessories; they are encrypted messages from the past, directed towards the future.

Ramziddin Azizov, the founder of Ramz Jewel, lives in the world of jewellery-making, where delicate craftsmanship meets cultural heritage and tradition meets innovation. His work as a jeweller goes beyond creating beautiful pieces; it is about preserving the cultural legacy of his homeland while embracing the modern world of design.
A Journey Rooted in Tradition
What sets Ramiz apart in the jewellery world is his unshakable commitment to his heritage. While many jewellers focus on current trends, Ramziddin ensures that every piece he creates is deeply rooted in his national traditions. He is a storyteller, using each design to honour the rich culture that has shaped him.
Ramziddin’s work reflects a strong sense of pride in his origins. From early childhood he was inspired by his grandfather, who first introduced him to the world of jewellery. The intricacy of the craft, the painstaking attention to detail, and the sense of accomplishment when a piece was completed, all resonated deeply with him. Today, as a professional jeweller, he continues this tradition by creating designs that are both timeless and representative of his national identity. His jewellery serves as a bridge between past and future, ensuring that the cultural values of his ancestors are passed on to the next generation.
Who is Ramziddin as a Person?
In every aspect of his work, Ramziddin is inspired by the words of Chingiz Khan:
“If you’re afraid, don’t do it. If you’re doing it, don’t be afraid.”
His personal story is one of patience, persistence, and passion for his craft. He acknowledges the challenges he faced when starting out, including the long learning process and the difficulty of establishing himself in a competitive industry. However, these early obstacles provided valuable experience that has shaped him into the skilled jeweller he is today. Ramziddin is someone who never stops learning and improving. He believes that his journey is not just about personal success but about elevating the art of jewellery as a whole. He continues to push the boundaries of his craft while staying true to the traditional elements that have always been close to his heart.
Why Traditions Matter
For Ramziddin, the most significant source of inspiration is the rich history and culture that surrounds him. He finds creative fuel in historical monuments, ancient streets, and traditional jewellery that have stood the test of time. These elements inspire him to create pieces that are not just beautiful but also meaningful. He believes that the preservation of traditions is essential to maintaining the cultural identity of a nation. This mindset is at the core of his work. His ability to blend traditional elements with modern techniques makes his work stand out. This combination allows Ramziddin to create pieces that are both classic and contemporary.
Crafting Beauty with Melchior and Turquoise
One of the hallmarks of Ramziddin’s jewellery is his choice of materials, which is as varied as the designs themselves – gold, silver, bronze, melchior (an alloy of copper and nickel), and Damascus steel being the primary metals, complemented by a stunning selection of lapis lazuli, turquoise, coral, tourmaline, jade, and many others. The collection includes earrings, rings, brooches, pendants, chains and even Kosh and Tumor (traditional national jewellery items). Drawing inspiration from the architectural beauty of Uzbekistan, the brand embraces a wide array of design styles, from Steampunk to mokume-gane and monisto.
Advice to the Younger Generation
To the younger generation aspiring to enter the jewellery industry, Ramziddin offers this advice: “Never forget the importance of patience.” Making jewellery is a meticulous process that demands great attention to detail. Each piece requires time, effort and persistence. Ramziddin reminds young jewellers that success in this field does not come overnight. It requires dedication, continuous learning and the ability to overcome challenges.
He also emphasises that the journey to becoming a skilled jeweller is not just about creating beautiful pieces but about staying true to one's roots and traditions. He encourages young artists to embrace both innovation and tradition in their work, finding a balance that will allow them to create pieces that are both meaningful and modern.
