The autumn of 2025 has set a record for the tourism sector: over nine months, Uzbekistan welcomed $8.6 million foreign tourists—a 112.5% increase compared to the previous year. This is one of the most impressive growth indicators in Central Asia.
HORECA EXPO UZBEKISTAN is becoming the "think tank" of the industry, where new ideas, standards, and technologies are formed, setting the tone for the development of the hospitality sector.
From October 21st to 23rd, Tashkent became a meeting place for international experts, investors, hoteliers, restaurateurs, and manufacturers. The program included over $10$ thematic sessions, conferences, panel discussions, and B2B meetings dedicated to sustainable development, hotel architecture, digitalization, and human resources policy.
One of the central events was the Gastro Forum Tashkent 2025, which united culinary art and the strategy of gastronomic tourism. The forum generated great interest among professionals and served as a platform for sharing experiences with leading specialists.
The speech by the special guest Jean Ashner —a French chef with two Michelin stars—who for the first time shared his experience and culinary philosophy with the Uzbek audience, gathered a full house and became one of the most anticipated events of the business program.
Investing in Human Capital and a Sustainable Future
For the first time as part of the exhibition, a "Job Fair" was held, aimed at strengthening the human resources potential of the HoReCa sector. The project united leading international hotel chains—Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Accor, JW Marriott—with Uzbek universities and colleges.
The topic of environmental sustainability also received attention. Companies such as Norco Akustic, Gimogroup, InTouch, Hotelious & Hurma, Hafele, Ostrovok, and others presented solutions aimed at reducing energy consumption and digitalizing processes.
Uzbekistan's New Image
According to participants, HORECA EXPO UZBEKISTAN 2025 reflects global shifts in the approach to tourism development. The country is confidently moving towards the status of a regional leader in hospitality and gastro-tourism.
The exhibition's partners were the airline Centrum Air and the company Grass, who supported the idea of promoting Uzbekistan as a dynamically developing tourist destination.
HORECA EXPO UZBEKISTAN 2025 was not just a professional exhibition but a symbol of a new era for Uzbekistan's hospitality industry—an era of innovation, openness, and inspiration.
